Fish and Chips for Two at Cirrus

We are bringing back the original Fish and Chips from Cirrus's opening menu. This time we are pairing it with our Charcoal Grilled Bread with Taramasalata and Espelette Pepper, Chips and Chicken Salt, as well as a Salad with Chardonnay and Mustard Vinaigrette.

+ 2019 Domaine de la Quilla Melon de Bourgogne at $14 per glass (wine might change on availability)

"It's a bones-out and head-on affair for the fish part of the fish and chips at Cirrus. Whole flathead is crumbed with a mixture of seeds and grains (black rice, amaranth, puffed sorghum) and panko, before it's deep-fried and plated with charred lemon and tartare sauce. And the chips? A beer batter make them moreish, that and a seasoning of kombu and mushroom powder. Pro tip: the head is left on the fish for a reason – eat the cheek." Gourmet Traveler
